Biography

Dr. George King: Mental Channel of the Cosmic Masters

Born in 1919 in London, England, Dr. George King’s early life was marked by a profound curiosity about the mysteries of existence. From childhood, he was drawn to philosophy, meditation, and the study of consciousness. This curiosity eventually led him to the disciplined practice of yoga and Eastern spiritual traditions, where he developed the skills and awareness that would later prepare him for his extraordinary mission.

In the early 1950s, Dr. George King’s life took a dramatic turn. He began experiencing telepathic and spiritual communications with highly evolved extraterrestrial intelligences, known as the Cosmic Masters. These beings, had reached levels of spiritual evolution far beyond that of ordinary humans and were deeply concerned with the future of Earth. They imparted to him advanced spiritual knowledge, teaching him not only about the laws of karma, reincarnation, and consciousness, but also how spiritual energy could be generated and directed to benefit humanity and the planet.

Motivated by these revelations, Dr. King founded The Aetherius Society in 1955, envisioning it as a practical, service-oriented spiritual organization. His goal was to create a bridge between humanity and higher intelligences, offering a way for ordinary people to participate in global healing and spiritual advancement. King emphasized that spirituality was not a matter of theory or belief alone—it was a tool for action, service, and transformation.

Under his leadership, the Society undertook numerous global spiritual missions. Operations such as Starlight, Sunbeam, Prayer Power, and Space Power were designed to radiate spiritual energy worldwide, alleviating suffering, reducing global tensions, and supporting the planet’s spiritual balance. He also formalized the Nine Freedoms, a set of spiritual principles outlining the path toward higher consciousness and moral responsibility, encouraging members to awaken the Divine within themselves and serve humanity selflessly.

Dr. King’s teachings were unique in their combination of spiritual discipline, practical service, and cosmic awareness. He emphasized that humanity, while technologically advanced, needed guidance to align its intelligence with wisdom and ethical responsibility. Through service, meditation, yoga, prayer, and organized spiritual work, King demonstrated how ordinary people could actively participate in planetary and cosmic service.

Throughout his life, Dr. King traveled extensively, lecturing, training students, and establishing branches of the Aetherius Society across the United Kingdom, United States, Africa, and Europe. While some found his claims about extraterrestrial communication controversial, many recognized him as a disciplined, highly committed spiritual teacher dedicated to the evolution of humanity and the welfare of the planet.

Dr. George King passed away in 1997, leaving behind a structured organization, a global community of practitioners, and a rich legacy of spiritual teachings. Today, he is remembered not as a deity, but as a messenger of the Cosmic Masters, a visionary who dedicated his life to awakening humanity to its inner potential, its responsibility to Earth, and its place within the larger cosmos.
